11 Comments Why it Are not FRiday?
All day long I’ve been giddy over the “Fridayness” of today. Yay! Its Friday!
I figured out at about 4:30 that it was only Thursday. All this time I’ve been thinking, “Where has this week GONE?!”
The answer is, “Nowhere. Its still here.”
Blastypants.
Not much to say about my days recently. They’ve been a blur of non-activity. Boy has been sick. He has the most pathetic allergies ever.
He follows me everywhere. To the washing machine. To the bathroom.
When I’m washing dishes, he’s right there. Being pathetic.
He has a perpetual snot bubble and/or dangly.
The Dark Knight can’t take it anymore.
Siegfried, on the other hand, has been up to the usual……weirdness that kids do.
I was totally unprepared for this motherhood thing, so it always takes me a minute.
He has no time for my ignorance.
In OTHER news…..
Siegfried made that background by the way….
So, I finally opened an etsy shop. I’m having my paintings printed on canvas and I’m stretching them, glazing them and selling them. Yay.
I have these awesome frames on order….
And I am going to photograph them for spectacular viewing, but until then, I went ahead and put my stuff out there. They are still fairly time-consuming to make, so they aren’t real cheap. But I thought since y’all know me, I’d offer blog readers a 40% discount on these 4 paintings….
If you are interested, visit my site here….http://www.etsy.com/shop/CreativeDevolution
The coupon code is BLASTYPANTS
Shhh. Don’t tell anyone. :)
And PS- For Friends and family, if you want to know what I want for my birthday, I want those frames. They will be sitting at Hobby Lobby on Bitters until I can scrape the money together. You can give me $5 in an envelope like my grandma used to (still does) or even go through my new nifty Donate button! I love you!
That’s all.

Best. Coupon. Code. Ever.
I love it when one of my boys uncork something odd like turning into a moth. One night, eating dinner at IHOP, my 6 year old was engrossed in a drawing on his place mat. When I asked him what he was drawing, he said in an offhand manner, “Oh, Indiana Jones punching a jaguar.”
Awesome.
Ok there’s an idea for a painting. Indiana jones punching a jaguar….on an Ihop kids menu
Oooh! A coupon, yay!
Motherhood never ceases to surprise me either.
Here’s Rose’s prayer from tonight: Dear God, please watch over all the animals in the world, especially the ones that are being eaten. I pray they have a good time in animal heaven.
That girl is going to be something interesting when she grows up! I can’t wait to see what it is!
Yes, my kids say and do weird stuff too, but 40% off?! YAY! Blastypants! Do you ship to The Netherlands too? I will pay the costs of course. Please let me know. Thanks!
Mascha
Yes! I can ship to the Netherlands!
Motherhood is certainly a never-ending source of surprise! I wouldn’t have it any other way. Thanks for the coupon code! Love your paintings!
It is fun. Toddlers could easily double as comedians.
I am supposed to be wroking on my art website, but instead I am here reading about your new Etsy shop and I am so excited that I have to go there next! Congratualtions!
Are you on wordpress? I’m putting a paypal shopping cart right on my website so I can sell stuff driectly from my art blog. I have an Etsy shop too, but nothing is for sale at the moment. I haven’t been keeping up with it like I should. I’m going to go put you in my circles or favorites or what ever it is they call it on Etsy. I want to buy all of your paintings. I wish I won the lottery yesterday.
P.S. It’s Friday and all day long I thought it was Thursday. It’s like motherhood gave us brain damage.
I could put a shopping cart on here. That might be in the future. For now I need other people to think for me….
My daughter would come up with off the wall stuff too. At 5 years old she drew vampire birds falling out of the sky because the sun came up.
