Your painting reminds me of the Tree of Life. I don’t know what those birds are, but in my mind, the big one looks like a chicken. (We have 2 backyard chickens so I see chickens everywhere now : )
even though ive never been, i get a sense of the vast openness of africa. the trees stretching up heaven while providing a small shadow as a respite for the living.
